Three-Alarm Fire Breaks Out in Vineland Recycling Center

A three-alarm fire started at a recycling center in Cumberland County.

On Thursday, April 4th, a fire broke out at Giordano's Recycling and Scrap Metal, located in Vineland, around noon. Firefighters arrived to the fire at 12:20 p.m.

According to The Press of Atlantic City, the fire was under control by 5:20 p.m. And that one employee was taken to an area hospital for smoke inhalation.

Firefighters from Millville, Bridgeton, Franklin Township, Port Elizabeth, Newtonville, and Rosenhayn responded to the three-alarm fire.

What started the fire is currently under investigation.
