Wildwoods to Host The Special Olympics New Jersey Basketball Finals

The Wildwoods will be hosting The Special Olympics New Jersey Basketball Finals later this month.

Over 1,000 Special Olympics athletes from all over New Jersey will join in the competition on Saturday, March 30th and Sunday, March 31st. Athletes will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals.

Six locations will host the competitions, including the Wildwoods Convention Center, the Wildwood Crest Pier Recreation Center, Wildwood High School, Wildwood Catholic High School, the North Wildwood Community Center, and the Wildwood Byrne Community Center.

Hammonton Athlete to Compete in 2019 Special Olympics World Games 

The Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competitions in a wide-range of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Thousands of coaches, volunteers, family members, friends, and spectators dedicate their time to the Special Olympics New Jersey.

The Special Olympics New Jersey Basketball Finals will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. The event is free and open to the public.
