Cape May – Lewes Ferry to Host Job Fairs in March and April

Last Edited:

Delaware River and Bay Authority officials have announced two job fairs to help fill 450 “casual positions” in a wide range of departments.

The job fairs will take place inside the Cape May Terminal, 1200 Lincoln Boulevard in North Cape May section of Lower Township on Saturday, March 16th and Saturday, April 13th.

“Summer is fast approaching and we’re excited to once again host a series of job fairs at our terminal facilities,” said Heath Gehrke, director of Ferry Operations. “The Ferry is closely tied to the local communities on both sides of the Bay and we like to hire locally. This event is a great opportunity for prospective candidates to speak with our hiring managers and apply onsite. Whether on land or aboard a vessel, you can’t beat a summer job at the Cape May – Lewes Ferry.”

Nearly 250 casual positions are currently available at the Cape May Terminal, including food and retail associates, line and prep cooks, servers, customer service representatives, bartenders, porters, maintenance and marine deckhands. Some supervisory casual positions are also available.

Interviewees will meet with hiring managers and will be interviewed on the spot. Candidates can complete applications online or at the job fair.
