Thanks to an annual coat drive, more than 2,000 people will have a new coat to keep warm.
Officials with HFM Investment Advisors announced that during their ninth annual coat drive they were able to collect just over 2,900 coats for those in need in the community.
This brings their nine-year grand total to more than 17,000 coats.
Officials say thanks to the support of the community the coat drive, which began in October, was able to surpass the goal of collecting 2,000 coats this year.
All the coats were distributed to those in need throughout South Jersey.
