Authorities in Atlantic County are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in Atlantic City over the weekend.
Police say at around 5:15 a.m. on Sunday, February 10th, officers responded to the area of Presbyterian Avenue for reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found 45-year-old Demond Tally suffering from gunshot wounds.
Tally was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Campus where he was pronounced dead.
According to breakingac.com, Tally was leaving the home of his friend Councilman Marty Small.
He was the father of 21-year-old, Demond Cottman, who was killed outside the Hamilton Mall on Black Friday in 2016.
