WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. -

Some South Jersey police say that while they do have one recent armed robbery suspect in custody, they are not giving up on finding the others.

Washington Township Police say that they have arrested 29-year-old Bernard Youngkin III, in connection with an armed home invasion that happened back on January 9th.

Police say that on that evening around 7 p.m., four suspects, all men wearing ski masks and armed with handguns, stopped a man in front of a residence on Aldeberan Drive and took his keys, wallet, and cell phone before forcing their way into the home.

Once inside, police say a fight ensued and the suspects ran off.

Now that they have Youngkin in custody, detectives say they are actively pursuing multiple leads to identify and arrest the remaining suspects.

Police add that they do not believe that the incident was a random act of violence.

If you have any information, you are asked to contact the Washington Township Police Department at 856-589-0330.
