Millville's Hope CDC Hosts Jerry Blavat Dance Party Feb. 15thLast Edited:
City’s Hope CDC is hosting a “Disco Love” Dance Party featuring nationally-renowned radio icon Jerry Blavat, on Friday, February 15th from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., at the Whitman Square Fire Hall located at 131 Johnson Road in Washington Township.
Tickets for the fundraising event are $60 per person, which includes food, soft drinks, a wine and beer cash bar, and plenty of dancing.
All proceeds will benefit City’s Hope mission of city beautification through education programs and nutritional services.
“I want to invite all of our friends, and supporters of City’s Hope mission, to grab their favorite partner and join us for a fabulous night of fun with the one and only Jerry Blavat,” said City’s Hope Vice President Ralph Graves. “But make sure you wear your most comfortable pair of shoes because it’s going to be a non-stop dance party. Who knows, you might even get a chance to do the 'Electric Slide' with Jerry.”
A cultural icon in Philadelphia and throughout South Jersey, Jerry Blavat is well-known for his electrifying on-air personality and encyclopedic knowledge of music, writers, and performers.
