A South Jersey beer distribution company is expanding.

Kramer Beverage, South Jersey’s largest beer and beverage wholesaler, held a ceremony on Friday, February 1st, to officially break ground on a large-scale expansion project.

The expansion project will add 124,000 square feet to the current 168,000-square-foot facility.

Officials say they look forward to watching the company continue to grow and are happy to call Hammonton their home for the last 95 years.

"It's really exciting to see what's going on and for both our employees as well as the town to see that we're here to stay, we're only getting bigger and that we're going to continue to have Hammonton our long term home," said Mark Kramer, president of Kramer Beverage.

The expansion project includes over 100,000 square feet of warehouse space, 5,000 square feet of office space, and a 12,000-square-foot covered loading area.

The project is expected to be completed in late summer of this year.
