BRIDGETON, N.J. -

A new fashion boutique has officially opened its doors in Cumberland County.

On Thursday, January 31st, Mark LeGrand Designer Couture held a grand opening ribbon cutting for its newest location in downtown Bridgeton.

Officials say this new full-service fashion house will help fill a need in the community and spark growth for other local businesses in the area.

"There really isn't a lot of shops in this area that serve this market so we felt we could come here and provide this service for the community and grow with the community, and be the go-to place for all of their formal needs," Mark LeGrand, owner of Mark LeGrand Designer Couture.

"Anytime a business opens in a city like Bridgeton it always has a ripple effect," said Bridgeton Councilwoman Rosemary DeQuinzio. "People that come here, that work here, they have to buy lunch, they have to buy dinner and the bridal aspect it'll help our florist across the street and our florist in town. So everybody and everything will feed off one another which makes for a great economic plan."

Mark LeGrand Designer Couture offers designer gowns, tuxedos, suits and accessories, as well as custom design for bridal parties, proms, men’s formal wear or Quinceaneras.
