Authorities Search for Clues in Shooting Death of Vineland Man

VINELAND, N.J. -

Officials with the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office are investigating a shooting that left a 32-year-old man dead last night.

On Tuesday, January 29th, officers with the Vineland Police Department were called to a home on East Oxford Street for reports of a shooting around around 9 p.m.

Walter L. Brown, III was found shot inside the home and taken to Inspira Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities say, so far, the investigation revealed that it appears as if unknown subjects entered the home and Brown confronted them inside before he was shot.
