Norcross Addresses Government Shutdown at Event for South Jersey Business Leaders

Congressman Donald Norcross had the chance to speak to South Jersey business leaders today.

On Monday, January 28th, Norcross gave the keynote address at the Public Policy Speaker Series, which welcomed more than 150 South Jersey business leaders at Adelphia Restaurant hosted by officials with the Southern New Jersey Development Council.

Norcross addressed the government shutdown and gave a presentation on the legislative agenda and policy priorities of Congress and its impact on the South Jersey region.

Norcross says it's time for both parties to work together to help better the lives of people they serve.

"Our job is to make sure that there are good jobs that pay well for any American that needs one, that they have educational opportunities, and most importantly that we keep our country safe and our neighborhoods," says Norcross. 

Attendees at today's event included professionals committed to the economic growth of the South Jersey region who want learn more about the strategic direction and new legislative initiatives in the upcoming year.
