Washington Township P.D. Investigate Armed Home Invasion in Sewell

Authorities in Washington Township are investigating an armed home invasion that happened last night.

Police say on Wednesday, January 9th, at around 7 p.m. officers responded to Aldeberan Drive in Sewell for a report of a burglary in progress.

The suspects left the area before officers arrived.

Initial interviews at the scene revealed four men, wearing ski masks and armed with handguns, confronted a man outside the home and stole his keys, wallet, and cellphone before forcing their way inside the home.

Once inside a fight ensued with the occupants and the suspects ran off.
