Washington Twp. Police Say Washington Lake Park Burglary may be Felony Lane Gang

Last Edited:
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. -

Police in Washington Township are investigating a recent burglary and theft in the area.

Authorities say the burglary and theft of a vehicle at Washington Lake Park match the same MO of an organized theft ring of criminals referred to as the Felony Lane Gang.

The group executes thefts from vehicles in parking lots of gyms, schools, shopping centers, and parks.

They take things like checks, credit cards, cash, and specialize in identity theft.

Police are reminding residents to lock their car doors and to remove any valuables from inside.

Patrols have been increased at the park.
