CAMDEN, N.J. -

An update on the investigation into the gruesome discovery of a toddler's remains in a Camden alleyway back in October.

Camden County authorities have now identified the child as 20-month old Jah'vi Brown and are still looking for information on his death.

According to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, on December 6th, 25-year-old Anthony Burnett reported his son, Jah'vi, missing when he went to the Bellmawr Police Department regarding a custody dispute with the child's mother, 23-year-old Tynaizha Brown of Bellmawr.

A known DNA sample of the missing boy was compared to the remains and his identity was confirmed to be Jah'vi.

A passer-by found the toddler's remains back in October, and authorities say neither parent reported Jah'vi missing until last month.

So far the investigation reveals that the toddler was last seen on August 20th in Bellmawr.

If anyone, family, friend or neighbor, has any information about Jah’vi, when they last saw him, or any other information that can assist investigators, please contact Camden County Prosecutor’s Office at 856-225-5166.
