Many Say Final Goodbye to Mizpah Volunteer Firefighter Natalie Dempsey

It was a send-off fit for a hero as a community said it's final goodbye to a local firefighter who died in the line of duty on Christmas morning.

On Sunday, December 30th, firefighters from fire departments throughout the region, as well as members of the community, family, and friends, bid their final farewell to Mizpah Volunteer Firefighter Natalie Dempsey.

The 21-year old died in a car accident while responding to a call on Christmas morning.

Dempsey received a full-honors funeral with more than 1,000 firefighters and hundreds of fire trucks helping to honor the fallen hero.
