Service for Natalie Dempsey to Be Held This Weekend

The community will join together this weekend to remember the life of 21-year-old volunteer firefighter Natalie Dempsey.

On Sunday, December 30th family, friends, fellow firefighters, and members of the community are invited to come together at Absegami High School in Galloway from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to honor the life of Dempsey who died in the line of duty Christmas morning.

She was responding to a call when she lost control of her vehicle and collided with a guardrail.

Voorhees Animal Orphanage Receives Answers to their Call for Help 

Dempsey was a volunteer firefighter with the Mizpah Volunteer Fire Company, and who had dreams of becoming a police officer.

Those who knew her say was a "beautiful person" who also put helping others first.

She will receive a full-honors service.
