SOUTH JERSEY -

Thousands will be ringing in the New Year by taking the plunge at the Jersey Shore.

Several communities at the shore will be hosting their annual Polar Bear Plunges on New Year's Day including Brigantine, Ocean City, and Atlantic City.

Wildwood plans to host its Polar Bear Plunge on Saturday, January 12th.

The plunges invite brave souls in South Jersey to take a dip in the frigid ocean to help raise money to support local charities like the Atlantic City Boys and Girls Club and Special Olympics New Jersey.
