NJ Transit Extending Discount to Atlantic City Rail Line Customers

New Jersey Transit is extending its 25-percent discount to Atlantic City Rail Line customers for buses and PATCO Rail tickets while they continue to work towards reopening the line.

In recognition of the continued impact on Atlantic City Rail Line customers, New Jersey Transit will extend the 25-percent discount on tickets and passes through the end of January 2019.

New Jersey Transit officials say they have met the end-of-year federally mandated deadline for positive train control (PTC) installation.

PATCO to Offer Free Rides on New Year's Eve 

They say they are committed to reopening the Atlantic City Rail Line in early 2019 pending federal review and approval of the line's alternate schedule, which extends the deadline for full PTC implementation to December 31st of 2020.

Customers can take advantage of the 25-percent discount and the available cross-honoring options with PATCO and New Jersey Transit bus with their rail ticket purchases.

Rail ticket vending machines will continue to be available at all Atlantic City Rail Line stations.
