ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -

Another Atlantic City casino is planning to join in on the sports betting action in the state.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City are partnering with Gaming Innovation Group to begin offering sports betting in the first quarter of 2019.

The recent update of the National Football League's (NFL) gambling policy helped clear the way for Hard Rock to offer sports betting.

Casinos and sports books can now be NFL naming rights partners. Hard Rock International became the Miami Dolphins Stadium naming partner in 2016.

Seven of the nine Atlantic City casinos now offer sports betting.

Caesars is serviced by the sports book in its adjacent sister property, Bally's.
