Camden County Police Department Investigating Fatal Shooting of Elijah Jackson

Authorities in Camden County are investigating a shooting that left one man dead Tuesday morning.

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says officers with the Camden County Police Department were called to the area of 7th and State streets in Camden at around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27th, for reports of an unconscious man.

When they arrived they located 39-year-old Elijah Jackson, of Sicklerville, suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was transported to Cooper University Hospital where he later died from his injury.
