Shop Safe with These Cyber Monday Tips

NEW JERSEY -

Monday, November 26th, is a big day for online holiday shopping, and with many online retailers offering extended Cyber Monday deals, local police say there are a few things you can do to make sure you are staying safe online this holiday season.

For starters make sure you are shopping on well known and secure websites to avoid having your personal information fall into the wrong hands.

Other tips include: avoid using a public WI-FI network, be wary of unsolicited emails, and be sure to always double check the email before clicking any links in it.

And if something seems too good to be true, it probably is, so use caution when a deal is drastically better than others.
