Local Gym Helps South Jersey Residents Stay Healthy with 'Thanksgiving Rebound'

After stuffing your face with all that stuffing and other goodies from your holiday table, officials with a family-owned gym in our area want to help you shed a few of those Thanksgiving calories.

Representatives with Echelon Health and Fitness in Voorhees are inviting everyone in the community to stop by their gym for their first ever Thanksgiving Rebound.

The Thanksgiving Rebound is an effort to encourage South Jersey's citizens to stay healthy during the holiday season.

Officials say during this time of year, many get off track with their fitness goals, and Echelon Health and Fitness officials want to help make sure the community ends the year on a healthier note.

"We always encourage people to move and cultivate a healthy lifestyle," said John Daddis, manager, Thrive Fitness at Echelon. "So reaching out to the community, engaging them, providing a place for them to be, and sort of disguise the monotony of fitness and enjoy it is really a main goal of ours."

“Thanksgiving Rebound runs through Monday, November 26th, and includes free specialty classes, workouts with Thrive personal training, and prizes and raffles.

They will also be giving away free 30-day passes to their gym.
