Borgata Donates $5,000 Worth of Thanksgiving Food to Operation Help

An Atlantic City casino has stepped up to the plate to make sure families in need can enjoy a hearty Thanksgiving meal this year.

On Tuesday, November 20th, the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa donated $5,000 worth of turkeys and hams to Operation Help, which benefits the Community Food Bank of New Jersey and its 250 partner charities across South Jersey.

Borgata's donation adds up to 132 frozen hams and 100 frozen turkeys.

The 11th annual Operation Help kicked off over the weekend and comes to an end on Wednesday, November 21st.

Donations were collected 24 hours a day over the last five days to help families in need have a filling meal for Thanksgiving.
