State Senator Jeff Van Drew won his bid to fill the Second Congressional seat being vacated by Rep. Frank LoBiondo on Tuesday night, November 6th.
Democrat Van Drew, 65, beat out Seth Grossman, 69, the Republican challenger and a former Atlantic City councilman and freeholder in Atlantic County.
Grossman is an attorney in Atlantic County. Van Drew is also a dentist in Cape May County. His win returns Democratic control to the seat held by LoBiondo for more than two decades.
