MILLVILLE, N.J. -

A new work of art in Cumberland County is showing off a piece of the county's rich history.

Muralist Sam Donovan is bringing a Millville work of art back to life by giving it a fresh coat of paint.

Donovan has been repainting the City Hall mural on High Street in Millville, which hasn't been touched up for the last 10 years.

Officials say it's great to see this piece of Millville's history being brought back to its original glory so residents can enjoy it for years to come.

"To be involved in something like this [has] just been a real honor and it's been sad to see the mural in disrepair the last few years," Donovan said. "It was hard to look at so I'm real happy to be here redoing it."

Donovan painted the mural that depicts the Millville Army Airfield Museum back in 1997 and has been involved in touching it up ever since.
