NORTH CAPE MAY, N.J. -

Veterans Day is right around the corner, and the Cape May-Lewes Ferry is making sure local veterans know they are appreciated.

On Sunday, November 11th, the Cape-May Lewes Ferry will be offering free passenger round-trip, same-day travel for veterans and active military personnel with a valid ID.

They will also be offering a free cup coffee or fountain soda, plus an 11-percent off discount on any food or retail purchases in either the terminal or abroad a ferry vessel.

Officials say this is just a small way to say thank you and to give back to the veterans and their families who have sacrificed so much for their country.
