SOUTH JERSEY -

A nationwide initiative will have many across the country and right here in South Jersey asking what's in their medicine cabinet?

Saturday, October 27th, is the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

The day-long initiative aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of unwanted or unused prescription drugs, while also educating the public about the potential for abuse of medications.

Local police departments throughout South Jersey will be holding prescription drug drop-off events throughout the day tomorrow.

To find a drop off location near you visit takebackday.dea.gov.
