NEW JERSEY -

From one natural disaster to another, members with New Jersey Task Force One are back at it again and ready to assist those impacted by Hurricane Michael.

Having just returned from helping those affected by Hurricane Florence, 47 members of New Jersey Task Force One responded to a request from FEMA officials and deployed on Tuesday, October 9th, to the Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama, where they will be on stand-by to assist with rescue and relief efforts as this new powerful storm moves across the southeast.

Hurricane Michael quickly intensified as it moved closer to land and is expected to be the strongest storm to hit the Florida panhandle in recorded history.
