BLACKWOOD, N.J. -

A local animal clinic will be temporarily closed for renovations for nearly two weeks.

The Camden County Animal Shelter in Blackwood will be closed for all clinic services including surgeries, dental, and walk-in vaccines from now through Friday, October 19th, as the shelter enters the final phase of its construction and renovation project.

The renovation project will expand the low-cost clinic services and enhance the animal holding space, customer service, and daily housekeeping areas.

Improvements include creating a new surgical suite and prep and recovery areas for spay and neuter surgeries.

Pet adoption services will continue to operate during regular business hours during the construction period.
