A South Jersey university has been doing its part to help those recovering from addiction, and on Tuesday those efforts were recognized.
Stockton University’s partnership with the Atlantic County Recovery Court program was recognized on Tuesday, September 11th, in a ceremony at the Atlantic County Criminal Courts Complex.
Stockton officials developed a program that so far has offered employment to three Recovery Court participants, and provided scholarship funding to help another.
The Recovery Court program works to provide those struggling with addiction a chance at a successful recovery and the opportunity to improve their lives for the better.
Stockton officials say they will continue the partnership in hopes of helping change the lives of more participants in the program.
