SOUTH JERSEY -

With Hurricane Florence bearing down on the East Coast, Atlantic City Electric’s Full Emergency Response Organization is ready.

Employees and local contractors have inspected equipment, reviewed procedures and assembled staffing plans to ensure around-the-clock support to respond to any potential impacts from the storm.

Should Florence not impact the Atlantic City Electric service area, company personnel, and local contractors will be ready to answer the call if support is needed in other impacted utilities.

Atlantic City Electric is encouraging its customers to also prepare and stay safe during the storm.

Be sure to have an emergency plan and kit ready, have cell phones charged, stay away from downed wires, stay informed and follow instructions from emergency personnel
