A local recovery center will be expanding to provide more services to those struggling with addiction.
The Recovery Centers of America at Mays Landing (RCA) is expanding their facility, doubling the addiction treatment center from 53 beds to 133 beds.
Officials say the additional space will allow the RCA to treat more people in the South Jersey community, while also allowing clinical programming to be expanded to meet the needs of various groups.
RCA will also be hiring an additional 60 employees by the end of the year.
RCA will be holding an open house on Thursday, September 27th, where there will be Narcan training, tours and treatment experts on hand to answer questions.
