Flooding Closes Bridges in Atlantic and Burlington Counties

SOUTH JERSEY -

With all the rain that's been falling, flooding has caused quite a few headaches across the area.

Flooding along the Mullica River led to the closure of two bridges that run between Atlantic and Burlington counties forcing drivers to find alternate routes.

Both Green Bank Bridge in Mullica Township and the Lower Bank Bridge in Egg Harbor City were closed to motorists due to roadway flooding.

Officials are reminding drivers to never attempt to drive through flood waters as it can be dangerous and lead to engine failure.
