State Police Searching for Suspect Who Escaped Police Custody

Officials with the New Jersey State Police are searching for David D. Riley, who escaped from police custody.

Riley, 34, of Bridgeton, was in custody of the Cumberland County Corrections Officers at around 10:26 A.M. on Friday, August 10 when he fled. Police say he escaped in the area of Cornell Drive and Old Deerfield Pike in Upper Deerfield Township.

He is described as a 5'9" white male, weighing around 190 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and boxer shorts.

Police caution everyone to not approach him as he is deemed to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact the New Jersey State Police, Bridgeton Station at 856-451-0101.
