Hard Rock Gets Local Vets Best Seats at Upcoming Atlantic City Airshow

With the Atlantic City Airshow right around the corner, one of the city's newest casinos is stepping up to make sure local veterans have the best seats in the house.

On Friday, August 10th, officials with the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, in partnership with Orsted and the Greater Atlantic City Chamber, announced they will be sponsoring two large tents on the beach that will allow members of the New Jersey Friends of the Guard Reserve and the New Jersey Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, and their families to enjoy the airshow.

For years the groups had a presence at the airshow, but due to fundraising challenges have not been able to attend.

Officials say this partnership will allow those veterans to once again enjoy everything the airshow has to offer.

"It's important to us because they enjoy the airshow," said Robert Lee, VP, Community Relations, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. "They're veterans. Some have flew in some of those planes that will be in the airshow, so to just support veterans all around is extremely important to Hard Rock."

All the high-flying fun of the Atlantic City Airshow is set to take place on Wednesday, August 22nd, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
