Update: Man Charged in Gloucester County Hit-and-Run

Update: 

Steve Demetro, 49, of Washington Township, was taken into custody on Tuesday, August 14 and charged with the 3rd-degree crime of Endangering an Injured Victim. He was also charged with several motor vehicle violations.

In Monroe Township, police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man who they say struck a pedestrian with his truck and left the area.

The incident happened at around 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 4th, at the Buy Rite Liquors located on North Black Horse Pike.

The victim was transported to Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township for a complaint of pain to his neck.
