Major party candidates vying for New Jersey's 2nd district congressional seat will face off in a debate later this year.

Stockton University representatives announced that a debate between Democratic candidate and current State Senator Jeff Van Drew and Republican candidate Seth Grossman will be held on Wednesday, October 10th, at Stockton's Campus Center Theater.

The election this November is expected to grab the attention of political leaders nationwide as Congressman Frank LoBiondo prepares to retire and partisan control of the House is contested.
