'Tis the season for weddings and a local nursing home wanted to give its residents a chance to enjoy all the wedding magic.
Wedding bells were ringing on Tuesday, August 7th, as the Jefferson Healthcare Center held a mock wedding for their residents.
Officials say the idea came about after some of the residents told the nursing homes activities director that they miss going to weddings.
So an employee and her husband agreed to recreate their wedding.
The fun-filled day included a ceremony and reception complete with a wedding cake, dancing, and plenty of smiles to go around.
