The 28th annual Downtown Millville Car Show, which will feature antique, classic, and unique cars, is set to open next weekend.

The car show will be held in the Glasstown Arts District in downtown Millville on Saturday, August 11th.

High Street will be closed from Main Street to Broad Street to accommodate the hundreds of cars on display.

The car show is open to all makes and models, including special interest and modern collectibles of any age. The first 200 cars registered will be given dash plaques and t-shirts. Judges will give over 25 unique trophies at 2:45 p.m., including Best of Show.

The Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce and the Cruisin’ Classics Auto Club will be this year’s hosts.

“We are looking for another great event with the Cruisin’ Classics Auto Club back as a co-host for their third time,” said Co-Chair Gary Moellers. “With their many active club members, we expect another great turnout of hundreds of classic cars.”

Jerry Covella will also be co-chairing with Moellers.

Live entertainment will be performed by Billy Thoden Band, who will perform at High and Sassafras Streets along with Randall and the Vandalls, who will be performing at High and Oak Streets. Both bands will be performing between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

In case of rain, the show will be held the following Saturday, August 18th.

For info on car registration, call Tony at 609-839-2239. Pre-registration applications can be found at 14 Mulberry Street or online at millville-nj.com. Day of car show registration is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at High and Broad Streets.
