Stockton University Event Discusses Legalizing Marijuana in New Jersey

Stockton University officials held an event on Thursday to discuss the current efforts to legalize marijuana in New Jersey.

Former Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy and founder and president of Smart Approaches to Marijuana, Kevin A. Sabet, hosted an event on Thursday, August 2nd titled "Marijuana Legalization in N.J.: Are We Sure?"

During the event, the two discussed the potential impact the legalization of marijuana could have in the state.

Among the topics discussed were lessons learned in legalized states, the mental health effects of marijuana use, the cost of implementing legalization from law enforcement to regulators, and usage among youth.
