LOWER TOWNSHIP, N.J. -

The Lower Township Police Department is thankful for the donation of lifesaving medication.

Thirty doses of nasal Naloxone, also known as Narcan, were donated to the Lower Township Police Department by the Cure Ministry of the Lighthouse Church and the Greg DiAntonio Memorial Foundation of Wildwood.

The police department says that if Narcan is administered within the first few minutes of an opioid overdose, it can reverse the effects of that overdose.
