Menendez and Norcross Discuss Healthcare and Supreme Court Nominations in Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. -

New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez and First District Congressman Donald Norcross made healthcare the topic of discussion in Camden on Monday.

The two visited CAMcare Gateway Health Center, a federally qualified health center, on Monday, July 9th.

The two lawmakers discussed their continued efforts to expand access to affordable health care and how health centers like the one they visited are helping to do just that.

"We know that when people can avoid relying on expensive emergency room care every time they need to see a doctor that we can protect families from massive medical bills that threaten to leave them in bankruptcy," said Menendez.

The Democratic lawmakers went on to voice concerns about whomever President Donald Trump nominates as the next Supreme Court Justice to fill the retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy's seat.
