Former Rowan University President Suddenly Passes Away

A former president of Rowan University has passed away suddenly.

Roger Williams University says President Donald Farish died Thursday, July 5th, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston after a sudden and serious illness.

Farish served at the helm of the Bristol, Rhode Island, school for seven years and was planning to retire when his contract expired next year.

Farish was the sixth president of Rowan University and served from 1998 to 2011 when he left for Roger Williams.

Farish was 75 years old.
