Hendricks House Group Honors the Hansen Family for Their Work in the Community

The Hendricks House Group honored Roger, Edwina, and Jennifer Hansen with its 2018 Distinguished Service Award.

Jennifer, a recovering drug addict who is 22 years clean, inherited Old Hansen and Sons Inc., from her father. She started the Hansen Foundation to provide those in need, and recovering from addiction, access to treatment and to provide sober living.

Celebrating 40 Years of the Cape May County Park & Zoo 

In 2003, the Hansen Foundation partnered with Hendricks House to open the first Hansen Halfway house. As the years went on the Hansen Foundation has opened more halfway houses for those in need.

Roger Hansen served over 30 years with AtlantiCare which included being the chairman of Atlantic City Medical Center and chairman of AtlantiCare Health Systems.

Edwina Hansen ran the Lenape Park in Mays Landing from 1980-2000 offering catered picnics to organizations of all sizes. She became the president of the Atlantic City Medical Center Auxiliary, Charity League of Atlantic County, and Trustee of AtlantiCare Behavioral Health.
