Police Search for Information on Pleasantville Hit and Run

PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. -

An investigation is underway into a hit-and-run accident that left one man seriously injured early Thursday morning.

Police in Pleasantville say just after midnight on Thursday, June 7th, a man in his 50s was walking across the Black Horse Pike near the Goodyear Auto Service store when he was hit by a white car.

The man, later identified as Willie Henderson, of Somers Point, was taken to the trauma unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, where he remains in critical condition.

Police say the car would have a shattered driver’s side headlight, a shattered windshield, and probably damage to the front end, hood, and bumper.
