South Jersey Primary Election 2018 Results: Van Drew Wins Democrat Contest

Jeff Van Drew defeated fellow South Jersey Democrat Tanzie Younglblood and candidates William Cunningham and Nate Kleinman to become his party's nominee for the 2nd District U.S. Congressman seat.

Van Drew will run against the winner of the Republican primary election in the November 6th, 2018 mid-term election. 

Van Drew will be vying for outgoing Rep. Frank LoBiondo's seat in congress. 

On Election Day 2017, LoBiondo announced his retirement. 

  • Polling booths were open until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5th.
