Hamilton Twp. Police Search for Suspect in Aggravated Assault

Police in Hamilton Township are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that happened earlier this week.

Authorities say on the morning of Monday, May 21st, 28-year-old Steve Banks (pictured), fired multiple shots from a handgun at the victim's car as they were driving away after an altercation.

The victim was not struck by the gunfire but did sustain injuries from broken glass.

Police are actively searching for Banks and are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please call Atlantic County Crime Stoppers at 609-652-1234.
