Atlantic County Opioid Crisis Summit Shines Light on Challenges of Opioid Epidemic

The Atlantic-Cape May Vicinage hosted an event to discuss the challenges of the opioid epidemic.

On Tuesday, May 15th, members of the community, students, and local officials gathered at Atlantic Cape Community College for the Atlantic County Opioid Crisis Summit.

The summit included information about ways to address addiction and offered solutions for prevention and recovery.

Officials say the goal of the event was held to bring the community together to figure out the best ways to combat the opioid crisis and help save lives.
