10th Annual Jersey Shorecast Predicts a Busy Summer Season for the ShoreLast Edited:
A panel of tourism experts met Tuesday for the 10th annual Jersey Shorecast to discuss the regions busiest season, summer.
The annual event, sponsored by the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality, and Tourism of Stockton University examines the growth of the tourism and business season, which experts agreed should be a good one, especially with the opening of two new casinos and the new observation wheel in Atlantic City.
During Tuesday's discussion panelists said with more variety coming to the shore, the area won't just have a good summer season, but a longer tourism season in general.
Officials say the key to a successful season is giving visitors more reasons to want to stay longer.
