Hamilton Township Police Sergeant Helps Turtle Cross the Road

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J -

Why did the turtle cross the road?

Well, we may never know what his intentions were, but we do know he needed a little help getting to the other side.

It was just another day on the job for Hamilton Township Police Sergeant Chris Robell when he stumbled upon a snapping turtle slowly making his way across the road.

Robell didn't want the reptilian resident to get hit by a car so he used his police shield to help the little fella get where he was going.
